Michael will be teaching for three days at Oscar Mora’s Elevated Canine HQ (1846 W 11th St. Unit H, Upland, CA 91786).

Day 1: Advanced Marker Training.  Michael will take a deep dive into the benefits of modern marker training, and how to incorporate conditioned reinforcers and conditioned punishers into your training program.

Days 2 and 3: Finishing Work.  Michael will cover the essentials of transitioning from early training and teaching to the finished product, whether you train pet dogs or working dogs.  He will emphasize important considerations along the way, and cover how to thoughtfully reduce reward frequency and introduce punishment if needed.

We will start each day at 9 am, and finish around 5 pm (we often run over, so please be prepared for that possibility).

This seminar is a condensed version of some of Michael’s classes at his school in Santa Rosa, so expect a mix of lecture and demonstration.
